Marian Reynolds

Marian ReynoldsI have been a student of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation since 1994 and teaching since 1998. I studied at the Baba Siri Chand Center with Hari Kaur Khalsa and Gurucharan Singh. The Level One International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association training involved 200 hours and study of three modules-Power of the Word, Experience of the Breath and Secrets of Meditation. I have completed several Level Two modules- Conscious Communication, Authentic Relationship and Mind and Meditation.
I strongly believe in the healing aspects of Kundalini Yoga. The breath, postures, hand positions and chanting help to heal broken pathways. I taught outpatients at McLean Hospital and witnessed students increased ability to deal with Major Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and other Anxiety related conditions. It was very gratifying to help the students acquire the tools to deal with mental illness.
I think that as we spend more time in cyberspace we need Kundalini Yoga and Meditation more than ever. We are more in demand more of the time and it's so important to be grounded and centered.
I have attended Women's Yoga Camp in Espanola New Mexico and have traveled twice to India with Sikh Dharma. I participate in White Tantric Yoga, a very powerful group meditation.
